Back Home Midwifery provides holistic and comprehensive pregnancy care, homebirth, and gynecological services in the Capitol Region of New York. The practice is based on evidence, informed decision-making, and Trauma-Informed care. This is your body, your baby, and your birth.  You have the right to choose your care.

Prenatal Care

  • A free consultation to help you decide if we are a good fit

  • Prenatal Care in our conveniently located office space in Clifton Park.

  • Collaboration with area businesses for ultrasounds

  • In office lab draws

  • 24/7 availability

Homebirth and Postpartum Care

  • A licensed Midwife and a Registered Nurse (RN) attend your birth.

  • Follow up Postpartum visits in your home

  • Newborn care up to one month old in your home  

  • Lactation support and if necessary referrals to higher level lactation support

Gynecological Care

  • Annual exams

  • Pap smears

  • Preconception Counseling

  • Problem visits

  • STI screening 

  • Routine lab work 

  • Postpartum mood disorders
